App Maintenance
Partner is fully responsible for application maintenance. This means providing and supporting the technological infrastructure reliable and performant enough to fully support the application use by Merchants.
Maintenance Requirements
Application once deployed and published in the SmartPOS Store shall be regularly updated due to:
Security Requirements
Especially GDPR and data protection compliance must be maintained at all times.
Legal Constraints
Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and legal requirements in all markets where your app is available.
Operating System Updates
Terminal system updates (Android) may require application updates.
SmartPOS Ecosystem Updates
Updates to WPI and SmartPOS API may require application updates.
Business Responsibilities
Besides technological maintenance, Partner shall fully cover business relations with Merchants using their application, which means:
- Full customer support
- Responsibility for commercial communication
- Responsibility for operational communication
